Join the team at the Alliance Française de Sacramento! We periodically have openings for French teachers for our adult and children's classes, and occasionally for other positions. We also offer internships for French-speaking students from abroad and local universities.
The Alliance Française de Sacramento welcomes potential French teachers to contact us about teaching positions. Here are our guidelines:
Teachers must be native or near-native French speakers and must have previous experience teaching adults and/or children.
Candidates must provide proof of the legal right to work in the United States.
Teaching positions are part-time. Hours vary from session to session, depending on the number of classes taught.
Classes are held during the day, in the evening and on Saturdays at our Midtown location.
For more information, contact Executive Director Candice Harrington at firstname.lastname@example.org or (916) 453-1723.
The Alliance Française de Sacramento invites candidates from abroad or local universities to apply for internships at our center.
Here are our guidelines:
Internship candidates must be proficient in French and English.
Interns typically help in the office, at events, and assist teachers in the classroom.
Internships range from 3 to 6 months and are offered throughout the year.
The Alliance will complete required paperwork for an internship, but will not apply for or pay any fees for a visa on behalf of the intern.
The Alliance does not offer pay or reimbursement for travel. We offer each intern a bonus of $100 per month.
The Alliance will seek a host family for the duration of the internship. While we will make every attempt to find a host family, this is not guaranteed.
