If you’re like me, you love just about everything French. Watching French films and TV shows, reading French novels, listening to French music, savoring French cuisine, exploring France and other francophone countries. And, bien sûr, trying to master this beautiful language.
Luckily, there’s a place in Sacramento for dedicated francophiles like us. For the last 17 years, the Alliance Française de Sacramento has taught French to hundreds of adults and children and hosted dozens of cultural events each year.
But the Alliance Française is about so much more than classes and events. Together, we’ve created a community – an alliance – of students, members, friends, teachers and staff, both francophiles and francophones, who share our passion for the French language and culture.
If you love French – and if you love our Alliance – please join me in giving to the Alliance Française for the Big Day of Giving on Thursday, May 4. The Alliance Française is one of more than 600 Sacramento-area nonprofits participating in this community fundraiser.
You may donate anytime from now until midnight on Thursday, May 4 on our secure bigdayofgiving.org page. You may also give with a check or credit card at the Alliance Française between 12-7 pm Thursday or by calling our office at 453-1723.
Donations start at $15 – gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated. The Alliance Française is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Donations will support improvements to our French language and culture center.
Big Day of Giving Apéro: We invite you to stop by the Alliance Française library between 4-7 pm on Thursday for wine & snacks to celebrate the Big Day of Giving – and our very special Alliance.
Merci infiniment for your support and for sharing your love of French with all of us at the Alliance Française!
Bien à vous,
Alliance Française de Sacramento
