2016 Fête du Beaujolais Nouveau: un grand succès!

Well over 200 Alliance members, students and friends celebrated the first wine of the harvest at La Fête du Beaujolais Nouveau on Saturday, November 19 – one of our best-attended events ever! Guests enjoyed two types of Beaujolais Nouveau, premium Cru Beaujolais wines, delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts, live music, a silent auction and raffle, and great conversation, all in the beautiful Silverado Design Center. Meet Executive Director: Candice Harrington

Candice Camier Harrington was named  Executive Director in August, after the retirement of Béatrice Hildebrand. Candice, a native of Baratier, a small village in the Hautes Alpes region in France, has a wide range of experience in French teaching, curriculum development, event planning and fundraising. We have moved!

The Alliance Française has now completed its move to the E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts in midtown Sacramento. The 47,000 square-foot arts center is creating a home for a diverse mix of dance, music and cultural groups.
