L'expression « avoir le diable au corps » a deux significations bien distinctes et qui datent d'époques différentes : 
Datant du XIVème siècle, l'expression « avoir le diable au corps » désignait à l'époque une personne très vive, qui déploie une énergie surhumaine, une activité intense. Notez que cette signification est toujours utilisée à l'heure actuelle. 

Plus récemment, au XXème siècle, dans les années folles, l'expression « avoir le diable au corps » prend une connotation érotique et sexuelle où le corps est assimilé à la chair et le démon au désir.  

De ce fait, cette expression française tend à prendre plusieurs insinuations en fonction de son intonation: admirative pour la personne vivace, sévère envers la turbulence d'un enfant et contenant de la désapprobation envers l'adultère.

This expression has two very distinct meanings which date from different times: Dating from the 14th century, the expression "to have the devil in your body" at the time designated a very lively person, who deploys an energy superhuman, intense activity. Note that this meaning is still used today.

More recently, in the 20th century, in the roaring twenties, this  expression takes on a connotation erotic and sexual where the body is assimilated to flesh and the demon to desire.
As a result, this French expression tends to take several innuendos depending on its intonation: admiring a very energetic person, harsh towards a child's turbulence and containing disapproval of adultery.

Un vin qui a du corps est un vin de bonne structure, bien bâti, riche en extrait (charpente et chair), en alcool et qui par son équilibre, provoque une impression de plénitude en bouche.

A wine that has body is a wine of good structure, well built, rich in extract (structure and flesh), in alcohol and which by its balance, provokes an impression of fullness in the mouth.
