We love French stories

We offer classes in literature, travel, cinema, conversation at all levels.

Tuition is $280,
 the Fall 2021 classes are currently in session. A current membership is required to take a class and will be added to your registration at check out. Winter 2022 course information will be published just after Thanksgiving, and registration will begin then.


The Adult Winter 2022 session will start on January 10th. Some of our classes will remains online via Zoom and Google Classroom, others will be on site.

We invite you to take a placement test to make sure we find the right class for you. We use the Common European Framework of References for Languages, an international system that defines levels of language proficiency.

Have you always wondered about French pronunciation? Are there still some aspects that elude you? Come and join the pronunciation workshops. You will learn about the rhythm and intonation of the French language, about the most common pronunciation mistakes students make, and you will finally train your pronunciation through a series of dialogues.

Rhythm and Intonation: “Égalité syllabique et groupe rythmique”Pronunciation: “Articulation du français”

2. Saturday, November 6, from 10am to 12pm
Pronunciation: How and when to pronounce final consonant letters Vowels: [i], [u], [y], (cil, bouge, mûre)

3. Saturday, November 20, from 10am to 12pm
Rhythm and Intonation: “Les enchaînements”
Pronunciation: Vowels: [ə], [e], [ε] (chemise, bébé, frère)
“Le e muet” – “la chute du e”

4. Saturday, December 4, from 10am to 12pm
Rhythm and Intonation: “La liaison”
Pronunciation: Consonants [l] and [r] (lu, rue)

5. Saturday, December 18, from 10am to 12pm
Rhythm and Intonation: Conclusion
Pronunciation: Vowels: [ø], [œ] (veux, sœur)
