AF Sacramento Volunteer Group at Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services
Wednesday, October 14, 1:00PM-4:00PM
Location: 1951 Bell Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95838
Let's do something good together, and in French (all levels welcome)
The Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services (SFBFS) is the largest non-profit in the region and will be happy to welcome our group at their warehouse. Etienne Girard, board member of both the Alliance and the SFBFS, will attend.
Parking on site is easy; once at the address, follow directions for parking, where the volunteers will meet. Time will be spent packing food for those most in need in our community. We will finish with a group picture to commemorate our volunteer day.
Now in its 50th year, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services serves as the largest hunger relief organization in Sacramento County and the regional food bank, supporting a network of 112 partners to provide nutritious, meaningful food to our neighbors in need.
When you RSVP for this, you'll see a link to register for this with them; make sure you complete the entire sign up including the waiver at the bottom of the page.
Please arrive on time, you must wear closed-toe and heel shoes. Tennis shoes, boots, or sneakers are ideal —You MUST wear closed toed shoes that fully enclose your entire foot to volunteer.
