SAFETY FIRST

L'Alliance Française de Sacramento has a handful of adult classes which take place in-person. The majority remain online for the time-being. Our Summer Camp and Children's Classes have been back in-person since June 2021 at our CLARA location.

The health and well-being of our students, members, visitors, and staff are our number one priority. We will be closely following guidelines recommended by the CDC and public health authorities regarding COVID-19.

CLASS FEES & POLICIES

At the Alliance Française de Sacramento, we strive to keep our class fees as low as possible. Our small class sizes and experienced teachers ensure that you get the best value for your language learning experience. In addition to our competitive rates, we offer discounts for early registration, multiple courses, continuing students and couples.

POLICIES

CLASS SIZE: A minimum of six students is required to constitute a class. Maximum class size is twelve. An existing class of four or five may continue if all registered students agree to decrease the number of classes.

ADULT CLASS SCHEDULE: Classes meet ten times, once-a-week for 1 hour and 50 minutes.

LATE ENROLLMENT: For some classes late enrollment may be permitted in the first week or two.

ABSENCE: Fees for classes may not be pro-rated due to student's absence. Please note that this policy will only be revised in exceptional circumstances.

MAKE-UP CLASS: If you miss a class, you may do a make-up if there is space in a class at the same level during that session. Make-up classes require approval from both the office and the teacher. For online classes, we may be able to have the class recorded for you if you request in advance.

CLASS CANCELLATION: If the class you choose is full, or if we must cancel a class because of insufficient enrollment, we will contact you about registering in another course. We will give you a full refund if you do not select an alternative.
If you register in a class and drop before the classes start, your registration fee will be refunded, minus a $20 administrative fee. After the first class meeting, there will be no refund if you decide to drop the class.

SUMMER CAMP: If you register your child(ren) in our Summer Camp program and you find they cannot attend, you will get a full refund if you notify us by Noon on the Monday, one week before each Summer Camp week starts. If you miss this deadline and they cannot attend, the drop fee is $75 per child.

MEMBERSHIP: The Alliance Française membership is required for all students. If you are not already an Alliance Française member, or if your membership has expired, please add your annual membership fee. Memberships are non-refundable.

CLASS REGISTRATION: Please register early to guarantee your spot in a class. By enrolling in our classes, you agree to all conditions of the Alliance Française de Sacramento registration policy.

COURSE CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES: The AF Sacramento reserves the right to cancel classes and workshops, adjust curricula, and change teachers if necessary without advanced notice. Courses are typically cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, unavailability of a teacher, or inability to schedule appropriate instructional space. If your course is cancelled, you will be notified by telephone and/or email and given the option to transfer to another class, to receive a AF Sacramento tuition credit, or to receive a full refund.

EVENT TICKETS
Event tickets are non-refundable. However, if you purchase ticket(s) to an event and cannot attend and notify us by email at least a day in advance, we may be able to transfer some of the fees towards a future event.

Most Events will have a discounted price for AF Sacramento Members. It will automatically be applied. For some special purchases, you'll need to apply the Discount Code (example: a group discount for 4 or more tickets to our Bastille Day Festival) next to the price listed. You need to enter the code and click "apply" in the DISCOUNT CODE field at checkout.
