Our volunteers are the heart of the Alliance Française de Sacramento! Find out how you can volunteer at events, serve on a
committee or help out in our French language and cultural center. It's a great way to meet people who share your passion for French. There
is no language requirement or minimum time to volunteer. We appreciate the time and skills you are able to share with us and help us
grow.

Volunteer Teacher Assistants for Fall Children's Classes
Our Fall 2024 Children's classes start on Thursdays from 4:00pm-5:00pm beginning October 3 through February 2025 (no classes during Thanksgiving and Winter holiday break. We need volunteers to assist the teachers. If you are available any or all

Volunteer with the AF Sacramento at CLARA
Skele-bration on Saturday, October 26; 5:00pm-9:30pm,
we'll be running one of the kids' activity booths. Email Kevin at the

The Alliance Française relies on our enthusiastic team of volunteers to help us before, during, and after our events. Schedules vary, and
there is not always much advance notice. Visit our Event Page to see upcoming events; if they are
in-person, we probably need volunteer assistance.

match up your talents with our organizational needs. Much of this work can be done remotely if desired.
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR AF BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Nominations are now open for the Alliance Française de Sacramento’s Board of Directors. If you are passionate about our mission and are
interested in becoming a part of our talented and dedicated leadership team, we want to hear from you!
Board nominees must be members in good standing and be prepared to participate in approximately eight board meetings a year, assist with
fundraising and events, and serve on at least one committee. The Nominating Committee will interview prospective candidates and recommend a
slate of directors to the membership prior to our annual membership meeting, tentatively scheduled for early summer.
If you would like to nominate yourself or another person to be considered for the board, please send an email to kristin@afsacramento.org. If
you are nominating yourself, explain why you wish to join the board and what experience and skills you would offer. If you are nominating
someone else, share why you think the nominee would make a good board member. Please remember to include contact emails and phone numbers .
