Sing your way to better French! Whether you want to improve your French pronunciation, impress your friends at karaoke, or perform at the next Eurovision contest, this five-week workshop is for you. You don’t need to be a singer or think you have a good voice! If you like to sing and have a little bit of French under your belt, you are qualified.

We will work with some beloved classics of la chanson francaise to practice the techniques of phrasing, rhythm, and mouth position necessary to “sound good” in French. This is an opportunity to focus on your oral French in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

At the end of the five weeks, you will know the lyrics to two or three well-known, relatively simple songs and be able to sing them by heart. You will also learn about the meaning of the lyrics and the artists who originally brought these songs to life. Bring your open mind and sense of humor–Megan will take care of the rest. This promises to be a very fun time.
